Miles Davis Trio – an electronic re-composition – is an electronic sound composition created on the basis of the Ib Skovgaard archive in collaboration with Center for Danish Jazz History. In the innovative spirit of Miles Davis, the composer and sound artist Morten Poulsen created a new sound work based on Skovgaards’ large collection of recordings and interviews with danish and international jazz musicians. The composition, with the title “Miles Davis Trio”, seeks to explore new possibilities for presentation of a known and beloved music style.

Miles Davis Trio was presented on August 17th 2017 at Center for Danish Jazz History, in collaboration with Meutiviti Festival, Den Blå Festival, KulturKANten and CDJ.
