The White Voice

The White Voice is a manuscript-performance which engages the white masculine person in enacting statements about what the white voice has said. The performance script includes themes of gas-lighting, micro-aggressions, patriarchy, racism, nationalism, representation, blind-spots and more. The script is performed by white men without an audience, in order to not center the white voice but instead urging the performer to reflect critically on de-centering the white voice by making it “strange”.
